May: (1st week) Granada Street, Food & Wine Festival. Cali, Colombia Granada is the neighborhood where Cali Plaza Hotel is located. The street festival is one block away. The streets are blocked off and many tents with booths are set up. There is a fashion show, bands, gourmet food, fine imported wine, liquor, and cheeses.
June: 6~9: Colombian Andean Music Festival. Cali, Colombia Ginebra Valle, 59 Km from Cali. Attended by the most famous musicians throughout Colombia. Traditional Sancocho de Gallina (Chicken Soup).

August: FestiBuga. Buga, Colombia 74 Km from Cali. Home of International Music Festival.

December: 25 ~ 30 Feria de Cali. Cali, Colombia 25 Cabalgata (Parade of Horses & many other events) Cali, Colombia 26 Antique Car Parade. Cali, Colombia All December & 1st week of January ~ A MUST SEE! Unique Christmas Lights display over Cali River, about 2 miles long. You can leisurely walk or drive the entire distance.

Lake Calima 101 Km from Cali, Colombia. The principal attraction is the lake. Lake Calima is a man-made lake with a hydroelectric power plant. Because of the strong winds in the area, The lake has become an ideal place to practice nautical sports, especially wind surfacing. Lake Calima area has the strongest winds in the Americas, and the second worldwide. There are nice restaurants with lake views.
Cali, Colombia Horseback riding at Presebra Los Girasoles located near Pance area about 45 minutes from Cali Plaza Hotel. Highly recommended by our customers that have been there. Ride through the forests and rivers. Picnic or swim along the way.
Must See: Cali, Colombia La Ermita Gothic-style church, the Jorge Isaacs Theatre, the Church of San Francisco and La Merced Church where the first Catholic mass was held. La Ermita is located in downtown Cali, Colombia
Must Visit: Cali, Colombia Visit the Gold Museum and delight with the collection of gold works of art produced by the Calima Indians, See the San Antonio Neighborhood. La Tertulia Museum of Modern Art Exhibits paintings, sculptures and photographs. Enjoy the Animals at Cali Zoo. This is a great Zoo!
Shopping: Cali, Colombia Cali’s two most important shopping centers, Chipichape in the north of the city and Unicentro in the south, both house new Multiplex movie theaters. There are also two new shopping centers, Jardin Plaza and Palmetto, both located in the south of Cali.
Don't Go Home Without: Visiting Sixth Avenue, it is the main tourist and entertainment attraction in Cali, Colombia.
